Children Attack Israeli Embassy with a letter

Israeli Embassy in Madrid, Spain, recently received hundreds of letters from school children. Letter children Spain contained a protest to the Israeli government's actionsare arbitrary against the Palestinians.

One letter addressed to Israel's ambassador to Spain, Rafael Shotz. Contents, "Howmany Palestinians have you killed today?" Another letter reads, "Mr. Ambassador, you should start thinking not to kill children and elderly people in Palestine. But somehow the act of murder if it does not bother you. You should leave Palestine."

As quoted from the pages of Press TV, Monday, March 1, 2010, Israel blockaded all entrances to the Gaza Strip border for more than two years. Israel's illegal blockade of the Gaza Strip, which further tightened since 2007, have caused adverse effects for the economic and humanitarian situation of Palestinians in the region.

About 1.5 million Palestinians can not get basic rights, including freedom andmobilization, as well as rights to acquire life situations, work, health, and education.Levels of poverty and unemployment are at their respective positions 80 percent and 60percent in the Gaza Strip.

Three-week Israeli air and ground attacks into Gaza between late December 2008 andearly January 2009 and left more than 1,400 people, mainly women and children, were killed. The invasion also caused economic losses in Gaza worth more than U.S. $ 1.6billion.
