Immigrants suspected of being "children of Israel" should not be entered into the United Arab Emirates (UAE), although concerned with passports of other countries. The policy was carried out after the Emirate of Dubai police suspect that the Israeli intelligence role in the killing of a Palestinian activist from Hamas group in their area.
The ban announced by the emirate of Dubai Police chief, Dahi Khalfan, Monday, March 1, 2010. As quoted by ABC News page, Khalfan mengungapkan that it has the capabilities and technologies - such as voice and face recognition system - to detect the Israelis are trying to enter Dubai, the city which is one of the main entrance to the United Arab Emirates and has now become one leading business and financial center in the world.
Dubai police had been anticipating the visit of Israeli citizens who use another passport.The reason, many Israelis enjoy dual citizenship status.
However, no mention of how long the ban was imposed. According to Khalfan, the policy was forced to appear after the police suspicious of Israel's role in the assassination of a senior Hamas official, Mahmoud al Mbhouh, in his hotel room in Dubai last January 19.Until now the Dubai Police suspect 26 people involved in the murder.
Dubai Police suspect that all the suspects hiding in Israel and at least 15 of them a false name. Dubai emirate also accused the Israeli intelligence service, Mossad, making fake passports to the assassins to show as if they are from another country.
It's a fake passport using the identity of the three Australians who live in Israel. That is why the Australian police sent a team to Israel to investigate whether the names of three residents were dicatut or they are involved in the assassination of Hamas officials in Dubai.
Meanwhile, according to the daily Ha'aretz, Israel's Foreign Ministry was not sure on charges of Dubai. The reason Israel has not established diplomatic relations with the government of the UAE, including the emirate of Dubai that has a great influence to the country.
Despite not have diplomatic relations, Israeli businessmen have been routine to Dubai for business purposes. They are interested in establishing relationships with local businesses in infrastructure, communications, and agriculture.
